Robert Gillespie Adamson IV (born July 11, 1985) is an American actor. He's best known for his role as Matthew Davis on the television series The Suite Life of Marissa and Miranda.
Personal life[]
Adamson became interested in acting when he was a Junior at Alta High in an acting class. Then that summer, he was cast as Othello in the production Othello.[1] He then attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts until 2005 and loved acting ever since. He was only 18 when he moved to Hollywood calling it 'the roughest three years of my life.' His career role model is Christian Bale after he saw him in Empire of the Sun and he would like to work with Kate Beckinsale.[2]
Career[]
His first role was in the series Cold Case as a Fraternity brother of a murder suspect.[3] He plays one of the main characters, Charles, on ABC Family's hit series Lincoln Heights. He also had a guest starring role in the series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and had a part in the horror movie Dr. Chopper. He In 2009, he starred as "Donny" in the Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program which Carter Mason have a crush on but likes Rosie Gonzalez, alongside Disney stars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. He also guest-starred on Lovato's show Sonny With a Chance"KISS CAM".
