Shane Harper is an American actor, dancer and singer. He is best known as his role Tyler Herrington on JuneNetwork's teen sitcom Dana's Life and as Spencer Walsh in the Disney Channel's teen sitcom Good Luck Charlie and as a principal dancer in High School Musical 2. He has also been seen in the season 4 of Wizards of Waverly Place guest starring as "Fidel". His self-titled debut album was released on April 12, 2011.
Early life[]
Harper began dancing and acting at the age of 9 and was involved in community theatre and competitive dance. In the spring of 2006, a talent agent on the judging panel of a regional dance competition offered Harper an agency representation. He also studied martial arts from the age of 4 until he was 12 and obtained a black belt in Karate. Singing in church all of his life, Harper continue to nurture his love for music. Harper also plays acoustic guitar. Harper's family relocated from San Diego County, California to Orange County, Ca. in 1998. Harper has got an older sister Samantha, also a professional dancer, and a younger brother Sullivan, who's a model.

A passionate entertainer with a love of music and dance, Shane Harper is an energetic, young singer-songwriter with explosive talent that has already been featured on stage, television, and film.
He has many fans though he is not the most experienced actor as he hasn't had many fan sites dedicated to him especially on Twitter.
Shane's first upbeat pop single, "Dance with Me," was released in March 2010, and is currently available on iTunes. His second single, "One Step Closer ", released on March 30, 2011 and is also available on iTunes.
With a strong background in professional dancing as well as acting, Shane was involved in musical theater from the age of 9. He became a principal dancer at the age of 14 in the wildly popular 2007 movie, High School Musical 2. The following year, he was booked on a 2008 Nickelodeon program, Dance on Sunset. Most recently, Shane has a recurring "guest star" role on the Disney Channel original TV series, Good Luck Charlie. Shane also has a supporting role in the Rob Reiner-directed film, Flipped, which was released in August 2010. The movie also features his vocals on a Don & Juan remake of "What's Your Name". Look for Shane in a guest star appearance in the 4th season of Disney's Emmy award winning, "Wizards of Waverly Place".
Committed to enhancing his musical career on many levels, Shane has recorded an album, working with industry hit-maker Adam Anders of AMI Records, the renowned musical producer for the hit TV show, Glee.
His album release is scheduled for April 12, 2011, coinciding with his first nationwide tour. Shane will be opening for Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance on The Waiting 4 U Tour.
Shane recently had the privilege of recording the vocals for "Next Chapter of our Lives", the song for the Suite Life on Deck season 3 finale episode, written by Adam Anders and Nikki Hassman Anders.
Writing and creating his own music and lyrics, Shane is also a musician, specializing in acoustic guitar and piano. His pop and R&B influences include Justin Timberlake, John Mayer and Jason Mraz.
In addition to his accomplishments in the entertainment world, he has also earned a black belt in martial arts. After small television roles in Zoey 101, Dance Revolution and Re-Animated, Harper's first big break was as a dancer in the music video for Samantha Jade's single "Step Up" (2006). He was a principal dancer in the Disney Channel's High School Musical 2 (2007) [1] and appeared as one of the Nick 6 on the 2008 reality dance show Dance on Sunset.[2] (2008), My Name is Khan (2010), and in the up-coming adaptation of the novel, Flipped. His debute album was released April 12, 2011. Shane was kind enough while on his 2011 tour to perform a free concert for the kids of Beaumont elementary in Waterford, Michigan.
Most recently, Shane has recorded a song called 'Next Chapter Of Our Lives.' Which appears at the end of the finale of the Disney Channel show "Suite Life On Deck"
